New Year's Eve Tradition. Shucked oysters, foie gras, cheese, salad... all the good stuff. But Fresh Oysters from the OR and WA coast – yum,
Back when my parents used to live on the Sunshine Coast in BC, a few steps down from the deck, we had our own lagoon and little bay and an ocean floor FULL of Oysters, Just walk down, shucker in hand, some lemon, and eat fresh of fresh Oysters. The big fat ones, we'd keep to make and Oyster Bisque – you know – shallots, garlic, celery, carrots, oysters, some potatoes, and of course, some cream, and saffron. Yummm.
