INTO THE WORLD OF BRANDING

NOT JUST A LOGO | while it is the symbol that represents you, the brand is everything that surrounds the logo. Think of the logo as the short cut to your brand. Figurative or abstract, it has to say and mean something that belongs to you. 

LOOK+FEEL | if the logo is the short cut to your brand and the brand is the core idea of your business, think of the look and feel as the clothes – they sell the big idea and the brand. No clothes, you're naked. 

STORY-TELLING | when creating an identity, you need to tell a story. What you offer, great, but say it in a way that the customer connects. Build a voice for your company. Make it have its own identity through images and verbiage. 

YOUR VOICE | you should be able to cover up the logo and still recognize the 'voice' of the brand. This is even more critical with service companies where there's no product recognition. Be heard with your voice.  

SEEING IT IN 360º | everything you do and say should come from that one voice. Be the steward of your brand, be proud of it. Once unified, the message and the delivery of that message will magnify your presence.
